I LOVE COLOR! Color can move you, thrill you, calm you, warm you and make you feel life is worth living. COLOR IS THE ENERGY WHICH RADIATES IN THE PAINTING.
Living in Florida I enjoy my exciting colorful tropical environment. Water scenes are my favorite relaxation.as seen in the ponds and koi fish paintings which evoke quiet moods. My adventures encompass walking the ocean beaches, natural areas, woods and ponds or stalking a certain blue heron! Of course, I spend time painting outdoors, in the studio or doing art-related business.
I love to travel and see wonderful unique scenes which inspire many of my paintings. Love of mysteries and curiosity to explore use of various art media enable me to share my mind images. I take a light hearted approach and believe one should smile and enjoy art in your own way.
Painting in series format allows me to more fully explore my chosen subject. All my paintings are original one of a kind contemporary paintings I've enjoyed painting from observation or from my own photography sources. I'm always thinking about what the next series will be.
